seeing of 3.5" FWHM. First attempt with AP 0.75x reducer and Astronomik RGB Type II filters. The G2V calibrated color weights used for the RGB combine were 1:1:1. |
| Description: | This bright blue reflection nebula is located right next to the Great Orion Nebula. The blue color light of a few bright stars being reflected by the nebula. The red color in the picture is produced by a dim emission nebula and is generated by the glowing ionized gas. |
