Object: M13 The Great Globular Cluster in Hercules
Date: April 29, 2003
Equipment: WO FLT110 at F/6.5, HX916 CCD, G11 mount, ST-4 autoguider
Exposure: RGB 30:30:30 minutes all with IDAS LPS filter in place
Processing: Photoshop, mild Unsharp Mask.
Comments: The seeing was terrible at an instantaneous value ranging between 4" and 5". My mount was only guiding in RA, as the DEC motor was broken and on its way to Losmandy for repair. I had to star-hop by hand for the first time since I built my first telescope at the age of 12, and it's actually fun! :)
