Date: August 21 and 22, 2003
Equipment: FLT110 at F/4.9, HX916 CCD, G11 mount; ST-4 autoguider, IDAS LPS filter
Exposure: RGB (120):60:60:60 minutes. All binned 1x1
Processing: Photoshop: synthetic luminance, levels/curves, mild gaussian blur, minimum filter to reduce star bloat
Comments: Humid and hazy conditions, Moon was out for half of the exposure
Description: IC1396 is a large nebula in the constellation of Cepheus. It spans 3 degrees and is at the distance of 1,500 light years from Earth.
