Comments: Raw seeing averaged at 3"/pixel, 1/2 Moon was 30 degrees away at the time of the exposure, dawn interrupted taking of the color frames
Description: A planetary nebula located in the constellation of Vulpecula. Dumbbell is 1,250 light years away and spans nearly 3 light years (8'x5.7'). The nebula is expanding at nearly 2 light years per century. The center star is of 14th magnitude.
